Hello friends, I thank you very much for stopping by and checking out this sweet elephant card with a blended background. The beauty of this card is that it can be used for a few different occasions, such as a new grandbaby, a birthday card for a child or grandchild, a Valentine’s Day card or even for a best friend or sisters birthday. The stamp set is part of Catherine Poolers Deluxe Club Sursee monthly subscription and is called Love-A-Phants. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in Limoncello, Coral Cabana and Be Mine to blend this beautiful background. Using Memento black ink I stamped the elephant, sentiment and hearts. Catherine Poolers Kitchen Sink Sequin mix provided the gorgeous metallic and iridescent hearts. A Gelly Roll pen by Sakura was used to add an extra bit of sparkle amongst the hearts and then the panel was adhered to a black card base to make those colors pop just a little bit more. This card was a lot of fun to put together, and I love the look of the shadowy black image on the bright blended background. Catherine Pooler Inks are a dream to blend with and addictive, now I want to try a similar background in teal, blue and purple.
