Spellbinders Citrus Spritz etched dies feature a gorgeous lemon and flowers, there is a coordinating 3D embossing folder called Lemon Fresco.
I had fun creating the vibrant background for these cards. I started by spritzing some water on a piece of regular cardstock 5.5″ x 8.5″, putting it into the Lemon Fresco 3D embossing folder and then running it through the die cut machine. I loaded a brayer up with my a favorite teal color and ran the brayer on the debossed side of the panel. I repeated this a few times to get full ink coverage on the panel. Then with small ink blending brushes, I used yellow for the lemons, green and a dark green for the leaves to give them color. I then cut this panel in half and trimmed the edges. One of the panels was made into a regular card, adding the Citrus Spritz etched dies onto an oval and adhering that with foam tape to the card panel.
The second panel was made into an edge to edge shaker, filling it with Chameleon Opalescent sequins and then repeated the die cutting and added to an oval and adhered to the card front. To top off the cards I added foiled sentiments from the La Dolce Vita sentiments set.
