I made this card a few weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. I had a beautiful foliage embossing folder that I wanted to use and although it is very subtle in the background it is there, adding some fun texture. I used metallic watercolor paints and painted a rainbow in diagonal stripes and then splattered in silver and black acrylic paint on the front of the card panel. The butterflies are by Hero Arts and I love love love the 3D popped up effect they give. The die cuts only partially cut out, leaving some of the paper attached and therefore in the exact place you put them. I then used the coordinating stamp set to stamp the details of the butterflies on top of the partially cut butterflies. Added some gems to the butterflies and backed the panel in black before adhering it to a white card base.
