What got you hooked on cardmaking? The very first time I ever stamped a card, I couldn’t believe that “I just made that” with stamps and paper. For me, my absolute favorite part is the stamping, followed by embellishing, and a close 3rd is the planning stage. Choosing all the colors and papers makes me so happy. So, with stamping being my favorite, of course I had a lot of fun making this card. The stamp set is an oldie but a goodie by Hero Arts and is called Color Layering Bird and Branch CL866. The bird is layered as are the flowers. I have Goldfinches come and visit every year in the summer so I just couldn’t resist trying to make the bird resemble one.
