Thank you for being here.
As a crafting influencer you are asked to make a minimum number of products when there is a new release to showcase the new products. This time the minimum was 3, last time it was one. I am now convinced this is a dare … as in I dare you to only make this many. Ha! How could I possibly only make that many!? Last time I made 12, this time I’m up to 10 already and there is still a few days left. I can’t help myself! When the products are this good, you just can’t help it.
The Feelin’ Fizzy stamp set by Catherine Pooler Designs has so many wonderful elements in it that the possibilities are endless, the ideas just keep coming and I’m not happy until I get them out of my head and have them to look at in front of me, so here is yet another one, although not required to post today, when you have 10 but were only asked to make 3 … hey, why not?!
To create this card I started by water coloring on a plain piece of cardstock with one of the new gray colors Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing this week (April 19, ’23) called Stone, it has a blue undertone to it and is a beautiful shade of gray. I then stamped the sentiment at the bottom with the same shade and die cut it out but popped it up for the eclipsed look.
For the bottles I stamped them in Jet Black StazOn on vellum and then with a blending brush applied ink on the opposite side of the stamped image, then die cut them out. I stamped each straw with just one color but since there is a background image and a detailed image for the straws, the tone on tone turned out great. I also stamped little accents for the sides, cut them out and glued them in place under the main card front. Foam tape was used to pop up the bottles but only down the middle and hiding under the straws perfectly.
