Hello Crafty Lovelies,
The Steamboat Willie Betterpress plate by Spellbinders in Collaboration with Simple Stories was so much fun to play with. In these examples I used hot foil but they can also be inked up and ran through your die cut machine with the BetterPress.
You might be intimidated by having to glue each music note, but it’s way easier than it looks. I used 2 way adhesive sheets. Peeled the backing off of one, stuck the cardstock on it and then ran the music note die from the Classic Mouse Borders die set through the die cut machine. Now I had the music notes cut out and when I peeled them off they already had a sticky side and I only had to place them. The sentiment is from the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Frames & Sentiments die set.
I used a solid foil plate with the negative of the first card to get the image for the second card, then decorated with music notes again and backed it onto cardstock. I like how it looks like it’s at night.
